What is your cancellation policy?

At Bion Healthcare, we value your time and strive to provide high-quality care to all of our patients. To ensure that appointment slots are used efficiently and fairly, we maintain a firm cancellation policy.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice—or failure to show up for a scheduled appointment—will result in your credit card on file being charged the full cost of the visit. To cancel the appointment, you must call the office at (317) 765-8090 and speak with a team member during business hours – text messages, voice mails, and emails are not accepted.

We reserve the right to apply this charge at our discretion. Arriving late may also be considered a no-show if we are unable to accommodate you within the remaining appointment time.

Please note:

  • The cancellation fee equals the full appointment charge.
  • You will only be charged this fee if you cancel late or miss the appointment.
  • If you attend your visit on time—or cancel properly with at least 24 hours’ notice—no cancellation fee will be charged.
  • All completed visits, including telemedicine appointments, are billed in full at the time of service.

By scheduling an appointment, you agree to these terms. Thank you for helping us respect the time of our staff and other patients.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not accept insurance. However, we gladly accept payment by cash, and all major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

Can I reach my Bion Healthcare provider by email?

We ask that you call or email the front office for scheduling or general questions.

How do I request a prescription refill?

Prescription refills require an appointment with your provider. We encourage you to plan ahead to avoid any interruptions in your medication.

Are you available for medical emergencies?

Bion Healthcare is not equipped to handle medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately.

Can my Bion Healthcare provider also function as my Primary Care Provider (PCP)?

No, we do not offer this service to clients. You will need to establish, or continue care with a PCP outside of Bion Healthcare.

How do I schedule an appointment?

You can schedule an appointment online or by calling our office.

What does holistic mental health and pain management mean?

Holistic care addresses the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—using a combination of traditional medicine, nutrition, lifestyle changes, genetic insights, and natural therapies to improve overall well-being and pain relief.

How can genetic testing help with pain and mental health?

Genetic testing can identify mutations that affect pain sensitivity, medication metabolism, and mental health vulnerability, allowing for more precise and effective pain management and emotional support strategies.

What types of treatments do you offer for pain management?

We offer a range of treatments including prescription medications, advanced joint injections, trigger point injections, vitamin nutrition therapy, and genetic-guided interventions.

How does nutrition therapy improve pain and mental health?

Nutrition therapy targets deficiencies in vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids that can increase inflammation, affect nerve function, and influence mood, helping to reduce symptoms and support healing.

Are your treatments safe and natural?

Yes, our approach emphasizes safety and natural healing by using the body’s own resources, targeted nutrition, and personalized therapies alongside medications when necessary.

What can I expect during my first visit?

During your first visit, we conduct a thorough assessment including your medical history, lifestyle, and possibly genetic and nutrient testing, to create a personalized, integrative treatment plan.

Can holistic treatments replace my current medications?

Holistic treatments often complement existing medications but should not replace them without your medical provider’s guidance. Our goal is to optimize your overall treatment plan for the best outcomes.

Do you treat both chronic and acute pain?

Yes, we specialize in managing both chronic conditions like arthritis and chronic back pain as well as acute pain from injuries or surgery.

How do advanced joint injections work?

These injections deliver healing factors from your own blood directly into affected joints to reduce inflammation, support tissue repair, and improve joint function for lasting pain relief.
